HELP HELP HELP !!!!!!!

Not looking for a million dollars but more of the history why this exist. Long time collector of odd coins. At first thought it was a fake but PCGS VBERIFIED.

I have a 1915 DDO penny. Unfortunately there is no variety attribution.

1915 PCGS MS63BN #49820366

I feel was it was given a lower grade even because of it being an obvious DDO.

Could this be a first run that was meant to be destroyed?

How do I get PCGS to give it either a higher designation or some form of attribution?

This is not DIE CHATTER?

Please Look on PCGS using cert number before feedback.

This is a very interesting coin and I need some real input please.

Long time collector first time forum poster.

Not looking for a million dollars but more of the history of why this exists!!

Machine Doubling. No premium for that type of doubling. Only genuine Doubled Dies are worth premiums. http://doubleddie.com/144801.html

I agree with the MD "diagnosis".
Still a nice looking coin.

Those two things are independent of each other. About the only grading service that will attribute all varieties, even if there is no FS#, is ANACS. And they seem to be stingy with grades.

IMHO, PCGS was generous because the smudge on the obverse could have sent it into "Details" territory.
