$12.50. Cropped and resized seller photos for now. More late night insomniac auction browsing.

No idea if reverse is rotated or if seller just positioned the coin differently when photographing it (they shot it through a 2x2 flip.)

Please explain why you think this merits VF-20. I had a hard time getting to F-15.

I see how folks have called this coin a 15, because the bottom of the obverse shield isn't fully struck. However, I don't believe in grading based on one element or the weakest element of a coin. Rather I look at the overall wear level of the coin. The strike on shield and head are often weak on this coin. When you look at the overall strike and wear of Liberty seated on the rock, it looks better and sharper than a fine coin. In addition, the reverse is also a strong vf. If not for the shield weakness, I would be around 25. But 20 seems appropriate in this case.

Quite a nice coin in hand. I am very pleased for the money spent. It is darker in hand and the color is much closer to the original seller photos; my photos make it look somewhat lighter because I am taking them in a room with bright LED overhead lighting.

I'd say a solid F-15, bordering on VF.
