Anyone have any idea what this set of holders may be worth? I've never seen a set like this on the internet. The only ones I find are 19th or 20th century holder, these go back to the 1700's. I tried emailing Capital holders to see if they had any info when these would've been made or perhaps were custom but email was undeliverable. Thank you for any input.

Very interesting, nkaupa77. I've never seen one like that either.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Interesting. Probably from the 1970's/1980's time frame. Capital Plastics made some interesting stuff. I always liked their colorful War Nickel holders —- especially the green one! I don't even know if they are still in business.

Worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'd guess 50 to 75$ on a good day.

Throw it up on ebay and see if somebody wants it. Thanks for showing it. Good luck!

Looks like it holds more than the 7070, and is therefore more diverse. Thank you for sharing.

I've never seen one of those. Looks odd.

It matches the coin types from the Whitman US Type set album set (Large coins, Small coins) circa 1960. Which I believe followed the coin types as listed in the 1960 Red Book. Acquired the album set as a kid in the 60s but gave them away recently to a fellow member of our local coin club who wanted a bigger challenge than a Dansco 7070.
I have always liked the Capital Plastics Holders, I have a good size collection of them, some with coins, some without. I used to be able to pick them up at local coin stores cheap, the dealers bought collections, took out the coins and just wanted to get whatever they could for the holder, they would usually take my offer of a few dollars.

Cool way to display ... I've been contemplating a safe way to share some of my coins in a unique fashion. Those holders might be a way to start a cool "wall display" ... screw em right to the studs :)
