I just noticed the tag on the gold coins, made with real Chocolate, that tag is important, last thing you want is counterfeit chocolate

I saw that too, but you had better send them in to a reputable coin grader to get them certified . Who knows, they may come back as 'Details' melted

It may be cheaper to get an XRF done first, just to make sure they are in fact .999 pure milk chocolate, just hope they don't come back as coated white chocolate counterfeits.

Got my perfect 12 days of Christmas gift today. Plus one more for New Years. How I can spend each day trying to attribute some wonderful errors and varieties. Also Some really nice BU coins which I normally don't find. Thanks SilverCents. Perfect fit.

I received a lovely present from Santa this morning.

1898 Barber quarter

2021P Crossing the Delaware quarter

1964 D Dime

Spain 1868 10 escudos - contemporary forgery with traces of gilt on some lettering.

I'd like to say thank you to Santa for his generosity. The Barber quarter is now the oldest US quarter that I've got.

It's lovely to see a 2021 quarter in hand and the beautiful dime - both in mint condition.

The Spanish coin is the first contemporary forgery of a 19th century gold coin I've ever seen - presumably holed to prevent it being recirculated.

It's taken 24 days to arrive from USA, which seems fast in Covid times.

I'm going to send you a few more that I hope you'll like. I should've included more in that package, plus I wanted to send you more of a variety of items but I didn't have my large binder with me, and now I do. So keep a lookout for another package!

I'm sure I could look it up but I expect I'll get a better response from CCF. What's a "Hornet's Nest Reverse"?

Basically it's when a die chip or break is on the side of the building, or one of the columns on the reverse of a Lincoln Memorial cent.

For example, here's one of mine taken about a year back:

Really princetane?!?! What happened to your whole rant about being raised to be grateful, no matter the gift?

And no, you were not my giftee. Just find the complaints a bit outrageous, unnecessary, and out of line.

I have heard that Santa visited my house earlier this morning. I will have to wait a couple days before opening it as I am out of town.

Well, I got home today and went straight for the package. It turned out to be something else So unfortunately I have to stay on the 'not yet received' list a little while longer.
