Can someone help me identify the notch on top of mint mark. Split serif?

Looks like PMD to me. Did you check the three reference sites for a match?

Ive seen examples like that but on a different year:

But if the top has the split serifs, the bottom should also:

It resembles variety vistas rpm 006 but this one is lds. The mint mark sits right below the tail of the 5. Also the line sticking out of top left side of mm.

Don't think it is 006 either. With all of those stages,you should be able to match a bunch of the die markers. http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20...4SRPM006.htm
