Saw this interesting medal on the bay, NGC has "M.A.C.O" on the label. I am pretty sure that the "M.A." means "metallic art", but the "C.O." meaning eludes me and I cannot find out anything about it on the net. Any guesses?

thanks John, I read the listing and he did put in "company". I can only assume NGC means that and for some reason put a period between the "C" and the "O", to mean "company", so it all means "metallic art company". If so, I was wondering why NGC put the "O" on it at all and not simply "M.A.C". well, the question is answered in any case...

thanks... mike

The O might stand for Ohio? Try sending an email to NGC and see what they say.

It does stand for Medallic Art Company - it's a typo on the NGC label. (FYI: It's "Medallic with a "d" vs. "Metallic" with a "t.")
