Hello all, New member from Pittsburgh. Heard of this forum while watching a video by BlueRidgeSilverHound on YouTube. I have a bunch of US coins that were just given to me that I am curious of learning about / getting values for in the hopes of selling them. They are a wide range of different coins from different eras. I also have a bunch of foreign coins / currency I am curious about as well. Have done some reading on coin values / collecting, but am really just a newbie at this. Was reading through the "What to do if inherit a collection" thread and there is some great info on there. Going to try and start posting photos in the proper areas to get some opinions of grades / values / etc. Anyone that can point me in the right direction for certain things I am more than happy to listen to! Really looking forward to talking with many of you, getting your knowledgeable opinions and learning as I go! Will probably have tons of simple questions for the forum, so please go easy on me! Ask all the questions you want. If you have questions on specific coins, it's best to post really good pics. And don't be surprised if you change your mind about selling the coins and turn into a collector. It happens.....

I have 'issues', and a collector's personality is one of them. Don't worry, I take my meds. CCF puts expertise on your side. Nobody can evaluate a coin thoroughly without seeing it in hand, but you can learn what markers to look for and other such gobbly-goop. Enjoy yourself in a great hobby, where you are never broke.
