He posted some proofs he bought for a quarter each and stampvirgin, being extremely rude, shot him down.

Yep, congratulations. I received an email from Tedster. He has quit the forum because he bought a couple cheap slab coins for his grand daughter and felt his coin knowledge was insulted and was made fun of.

Can't say I disagree.

Horrible way to treat new members.

sorry to those left scratching there heads. I made this post as "bargain bin finds". They were in no name slabs and I new this, I got them for my granddaughter to learn from, and at a quarter a piece I was excited. The second post was from a member that posts
"you know these are all basement slabbers right?" I felt like he was trying to make me look like a fool. that is why I deleted all script in posts and the pictures.I felt like the person was saying to me these coins are not worthy of being posted here. So sorry for the confusion.

Tedster, this situation is a rare anomaly for CCF. This is THE friendliest coin forum around by design. Sure some rudeness may come out but don't shy away from that. Especially after only 1 or 2 posts. When a member is outright rude we will lambast them! Don't take it personally. I'm sorry you felt slighted but stick around and you'll see this is not the norm around here

Sorry you were treated bad tedster. At a quarter a piece any slab is a good deal especially for sharing knowledge with a family member. Hope you will reconsider and stick around, this is a very good community.

and it may of been rude but he may of thought he was helping you out being a new member but probably should of let that one go-I saw your coins and they looked real nice! Hope you don't leave and

Tedster
I hope you do stick around. Once your on here for awhile you will
start to figure out some of the personalities of the different posters.

I am sure you will find a couple that have the same thoughts as
yourself.

I did not see the slabs you posted, but I would venture to say
I will have like them or similar in my collection.

I like all levels of coin collecting, but pretty sure I will never
get to that upper 3% that some are in. I do hope I can sometimes
connect with the other 97% of collectors.

Of course as one posted said, sometimes people will write things
in a way that is not really what they are meaning to say.

Stick around .... Let us see what you got .... Most of us are very
interested in what coins other collectors have.
