Thank you. My initial thought is that this was VAM 38 which I am now realizing is the same obverse as VAM 9 that you mentioned. Thanks for the connection. Sorry about the pictures. I literally put my loop up to my phone camera and zoom in hahah I should invest in a better method. Anyway I get quite an array of images that due to the inconsistency of zoom and lighting. Check out the R in Dollar on reverse.

Hi I spent way too much time looking for this VAM but believe it's a double spike 8 of some sort - question here is, is it safe to assume the doubling on the 1s is machine doubling. I ask because I don't see any VAM that is classified as having all 4 numbers doubled, although I feel like this does.
Let me know your thoughts.

Hi is it possible to have multiple VAMs on one coin? I have looked at the listed VAMs, but none seem to include all this one.

Thanks in advance

Hi guys! Been over a year since my last post, good to be back! First off, I know my images are off center and incorrect - I apologize!

To the matter of business - any thoughts on what's going on with this mint mark? Looks really messy.

I found this piece on eBay that has similar markings on the T and the Y but also has a strike thru mark.

Thanks for the note commens. I agree it looks like pmd, it's the hit on the T that threw me though, the head hit was interesting too.

Not sure what error this might be on 1986 silver dollar - on Liberty's head and on the T and Y.
