With a few numis. Two hammered 3 kreuzers from Tyrol mint in Austria mid 16th century.

1 low mintage 1852 A 1 year issue half Gulden from Hohenzollern.

Most of the other would-be nice coins are holed, unfortunately.

My other issue is the Pearl's orientation as compared to the ear details.

I don't see it. The orientation of the Pearls to the G tell me it is the second variety. Let me draw some lines. Note the dots above the letters and where the Pearl's fall.

Am I seeing it wrong?

Thanks for the help guys... this example I have is not silver( if the ring test is conclusive), as I had thought. It is patterned after the 5 fen.

I am ringing this thing ... and I compared it to some other stuff.

Yeah. I agree, it's probably fake( or at least not silver, more likely nickel by the sound of it). Or at the very least made of something other than silver.

It's hard to ring such a tiny coin with such big fingers, though.

I found another one but with a different date in the image section when I searched " fat man coin."

However this example has a different reverse.

It is from an auction website, but the auction is over. No details on the auction other than " fat man small coin"

@petespockets55

I would love to see a scan of this Yuan coin with that obverse. That's all I am saying.

I have contacted the seller and asked her where she gor this from.

Hopefully she'll have some answers.

@Triggersmob

Do you have a link with something like this?

I'd love to see it.

I haven't found a single coin on earth with this obverse, in any denomination.

@Keith12 What is it that you want to see?

The scale?

I can read a scale. The scale says 2.72 grams. The date is 1921 go back to the original post. It's there.

I didn't use a different coin. I don't own an fat man coins other than this one.

@keith12... it would be except the obverse is different and the year is 1921.

It shouldn't exist.

2.72 grams is probably more accurate.

I agree. This coin doesn't check the usual boxes for counterfeits.

Thanks for your attempt.

I will add. My example, whatever it is, is far more detailed than any of the Jiao coins I have seen with the big guy on them.

Note the details on the chest area, for example.

What if it's a pattern coin...

Tissue test with a .750 coin twenty centavos 1944D similar silver fineness.

No discernible difference that I see in color.

But I am no expert.
