Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to get a better picture of the coin up at some point. I acquired the coin recently and this was how it came. I was thing the toning maybe album toning, but could also be artificial. The toning was the main thing I was questioning. I haven't dug into the VAMS yet But I guess I should start digging. hahaha

Hey I am looking for thoughts on this 1882-O Morgan. What do you think of its Quality, Toning, Grade? There is a good size rim ding around 2-3 o'clock on the obverse side.

Thanks!

Thanks! Sorry I forgot to mention it is not plated. It has a normal clad edge. It probably is a EDS. I've just never found one so reflective that wasn't a proof. Either way I do plan on keeping it.

I've been searching for any information I can find on 2000 Special minted coins and have come up short on this one. This 2000 P State Quarter has a very proof like finish. It is just missing the frosty white raised areas. Was there any special sets that had Philadelphia minted coins that had a proof like finish that year? Never seen them this reflective. Thanks!

I had a hard time taking a picture of how reflective the surface is so the third picture is with a Screw driver above the surface.

That's a nice coin. From the pictures of the obverse there maybe a tiny bit of wear in some spots. I'd say AU-58 but if I'm wrong about the wear then MS63

I'd agree with the XF/AU range. I try to be very careful when doing the online auctions. I've walked with some awesome pickups, and also some stinkers. Live and learn!

I'd say MS64 on this one. There is some minor surface scratching in several places that may keep it from higher. I could make MS65 though I'd still stick to MS64.

I picked up this penny off an online auction. Wanted to get you opinions on it. When I got it in the mail yesterday and looked at it, I realized then it is the S/S/S RPM (FS-502 aka RPM-002) So I got it for a steal! Let me know what you think for a grade. Thanks!!

And for anyone interested a close up of the RPM:
