Thank you Zurie. I identified the die markers as soon as I received it. I also had two local dealers look at it and said it is the real deal.

I have a Lincoln cent collection that I'm quite proud of. I separate the wheats and memorials by date only (my rolls are mixed mint marks). I had my 2 Grand daughters start their own Lincoln Whitmans books.

I have to agree. The dollar coins are a waste. I'd rather carry 5 $1 bills over one coin. and yes there isn't any longevity to the coins.
