My inventory shows I should have a 2003 match but I couldn't find it. Technically British so will submit and wait to see if somebody else has an Indian one.

Hi,

I was going through some buffalo nickels & came across this 1918 Philadelphia that appears to have a date struck over it. Since the 1919 wouldn't come down in the direction of the overstrike, I didn't know what I was looking at. Any help would be appreciated.

I do like the appearance, the price is right and it's NGC certified (which can be trusted only to a certain point) but I wouldn't expect a coin of this grade to look so good. Even at a good price it's not cheap. One question I'd like considered is: Would you buy it?

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase the coin in my subject but am concerned that the coin is white with no sign of normal usage. Looking for some opinions.

Thanks,
Jim
