I do not know if this is the proper forum, but here goes. I see several rolls of coins for sale on e-bay. They say "uncirculated". What is the definition of an "uncirculated " roll of coins? I bought several rolls from the bank that are 2022 D on one end, but a shield penny on the other. They are in the standard white wrapper with red lettering. How do I know if I see a 2022 d on one end of the roll but not the other that the entire roll is uncirculated, and does not contain any pennies that don't belong? I may list these rolls for sale, but I WANT TO BE CERTAIN that I am selling a roll of uncirculated 2022 Pennies.
To Stevelb-I collect coins mostly. I believe "what is considered collectible",is mostly defined by the person who is willing to pay for what I may be selling,as mentioned by thedukeof51 is it not? Yes, I am the same guy who asked about the 'broken ladder'. This whole fancy note thing is new to me for sure, and I find it a bit crazy! As. for Coinfrog, here are the pic's. Thanks to all for the info....
