1828 ANACS VF25. Slightly above my target grade range. And with that, the capped bust portion of the album is complete. Once I find a VG 1807, the album will be complete and I'll post completed photos at that time. Also, the digital album (link at the top of this page) is now all caught up. I'm really happy with how the album photos of this particular coin came out.

1820 Small 0 NGC VF20. Nicer in hand than the photos indicate.

I took some better photos this morning and put an online album together, which will grow over time as I take more photos and acquire more pieces.

I finally took the time to set up a better photo situation than my cell phone. Cheap light from Ikea, a cheap usb microscope, and Photoshop for cropping. I also own Lightroom but haven't used it yet. The below photos are of the same coin under different light angles (just a single source), and welcome any feedback or suggestions this group can give!

I would guess yes. I haven't followed coins as long, but for comics it is certainly true. Bear mind there are tiers of auctions as well, not all contain the same quality of material.

Thanks for the comments guys.

@USSID18 -- I'm mostly looking at opportunistic purchases of lower grade coins, so not terribly high priority. But I collect little else for now!

I don't know about grades but that 1812 is superb!
