DoctorBurnzy, I believe that the lamination looks perhaps slightly more peeled since the photos.

It's the distraction between the CE on the reverse that holds the coin back IMO.

Are you saying that a clash can interfere with a grade? I would never have guessed that, considering that
1. it was struck that way
2. the strike is still excellent in spite of the clash.

My guess for this guy was 64-RB.

I've been skipping the reverse additions of in-slab images for the sake of avoiding clutter; I am unsure whether it would be relevant, so someone let me know if I am mistaken.

I love this one. I'm keeping him for a while - the sharp die cracks and clash marks in addition to his condition and strike make an interesting and beautiful combination to me.

MS65RD+ was my guess for this coin. This one is just soooo red. I can live with that; he really does have immaculate surfaces, however, and I still thinks this deserves a 65. Perhaps the clash marks were overlooked as hits instead. I bet the arrival of the FUN inventory had definitely caused a rush around the shop last month.

Alright, alright.. this is the last one for tonight, though.
My guess for this one was 63RD.

You're reverse lighting was cutting through the patina too much.

Thank you.. now that you mention it, you're absolutely right, the reverse looks very flat here, almost as if it could be wear. I'm recently doing an overhaul with my setup as a result of these Lincolns. My ambition is to photograph coins professionally, but I'm just not quite there yet.

I'm hoping to find some early Lincoln woodies to trade some of these for, maybe..

My guess on this boy was 65-RB. Once again, the TrueView turned out a little dark.

So, I thought this one would get a Red for sure. In-hand he's just so shiny and red. I feel it even looks too brown in the TrueView.

Well, 1916-D MS64RB:

For the record, my guess for this one was 63-RB. I figured the spots would take it down a grade.

Do you want to guess grades?
Does everybody want to guess grades?

Coins from the book, y'all
Can I get a grade?
(maybe even a shout for cheesy references to cypress hill..)

I really like the look of this one.

I am pretty sure there was a clerical error on our sheet, since it actually says 1927-S but I know it had to have been this guy...

Rumors have reached me that the lot may have returned, so I am playing catch-up this evening.

While this epic album lacked a no-D, it made up for it with this gem -

A very pleasant surprise from the book, this cent gives a stronger impression of redness at first sight than indicated here by the photos.

Some are telling me that my photos seem to enhance or exaggerate flaws on the surfaces; I am definitely looking for input on ways I might improve my photography, folks.

Next in line outa the book,

Luster mostly gone, yet still present in the far reaches of the fields; much activity on the rims;
