I recently found a 1986 D Memorial cent just as you described.
I sent it to Littleton Coin Co and they called it a "shadowed"
coin not a true dd. They could not put a value on it because they had no knowledge of any and therefore nothing to compare it to for placing a value. Please respond. Don
