I try not to be a complainer but I find it grossly incompetent that the mint has a disclaimer stating "Please make sure your credit card is not scheduled to expire prior to the shipping date to ensure prompt delivery of your order."on a product that has a shipping date identified as TBD... Okay, I guess I'm supposed to guess...
I couldn't even get the product calendar to load, and didn't save the url for the actual product, so I went to ebay to find the product code and searched that...what a bad website.
Quote: if 60% of traffic was from bot scalpers, they were all ordering the max HHL too then, so one would concluded 60%+ went to flippers ... they really were aiming to corner the entire product availability.
I don't think the article was implying the 60 percent was a coordinated effort.
I find it funny in a public statement in November 2019 the mint said the amount of bit activity was not a lot, then in this statement they were dealing with 60 percent bot traffic. That's a huge increase in two years. Maybe they didn't understand what bots are two years ago?
Quote: I think it helps to have your CC info in your Mint account so you don't have to enter it at checkout. At checkout I click payment method and it auto fills in the numbers, a few seconds faster than manually entering, I assume a little better chance to get it to go through sooner before sellout?
That made the process go faster for me but the end result was the same, page not found...
Yeah, I feel lucky I got all the morgans I wanted so I am not too upset, but it seems like a crap-shoot on who gets them. I hope to have better luck with the two-coin set but that is even more doubtful now.
I have to go into my work office for the first time since the pandemic. Perfect timing. My internet at home is so much better. I hope to get one of each tomorrow. Good luck all!
It's an American Eagle set, not sure why it would make Morgan/Peace fans happy. No chance they're making a million sets with their earlier comments about difficulty getting silver.
