Finally remembered my sign in information, but I've been working on this set for about 6 years now. Down to my last 20 coins I need to complete the whole set in BN. As a side note if anyone has any coins that fill a spot or improve a spot I am highly interested as well. Trying to find the highest graded BN coins are actually quite difficult, more so in fact than the red coins. All in all I enjoy what I collect and finding them is all part of the fun

I've been working on this set for 6 years now. The last 2 or 3 I've slowly switched over to all BNs. It is quite the challenge. Most coins are 64bns,finding the right coin with the right grade has been tough. In 6 years I have yet to see a decent 15s in anything above 64bn for sale. The early years are brutal, albeit the set would be much easier to finish in RB than BN,but I've got a huge chunk of them already and one of the harder parts were finding BNs from the 40s-late 50s but finally managed to complete that portion, still looking for those ubber rarities. I did recently pick up a 23s in 65BN,They are out there just need to be found.

Been a few years since I've posted on here. My market has been somewhat slow because of covid so trying to use as many avenues as possible to locate coins. I am in need of the following Lincoln Wheat dates in high grade BN. Prefer PCGS 65BN and up,but will consider other slabs and raw coins as well. A link to my registry set so you know what I am after. Also would be interested in any coins that would upgrade my current slots as well.
Thanks you,JGD

its worth what is says on the reverse, one cent. There aren't any premiums associated with machine doubling really.

Here are my 3 that I have for this series. The shield nickels are pretty hard to find with color. My example has light golden toning to it. My 1883 Liberty nickel I believe I got from someone on this site or CoinTalk.

I'm thinking you have a combination of die deterriation doubling and machine doubling going on.

Actually alot of 1945s that are broadstruck have better bands then most. I've seen some with the FB designation as well. Good pickup for that price

I've just started buying from them, 3 coins just received and have bids on two more. I like how they list all of their colored coins as "toned". Helps out a bit

Same coin, there is a thread 7 pages long on CT about this. I zoomed in on the trueviews and posted the pictures on Ct. I DO NOT see the identifying marks on this coin. Die scratches in front of Abes nose, die scratch about the letter B in Liberty and the reverse V notch on the reverse after the word UNUM is missing. Just a really nice business strike IMO and PCGS messed up.

I'm in the same boat as you, even though it's market acceptable and some actually prefer that blast white coin, but not me. To me that's about as ugly as can be. I'd rather something have some color to it that I know hasn't been messed with for a long time.

MAYbe a chance at 65. Ill say RB with 80% still red. Fields look like and crispy and I see 65 luster. So I'm at a high 64+ or 65.
