Thank you for the replies, I get all the info shared and agree, as with all errors and varieties they all have a starting place to generate interest/demand. I've even searched online and other sites and have not even found a pic of another one.

Is there a section in the (or a) Zoell book, written up about this variety?

Ty again for everyone's input here.

It would be interesting to find if there is a tallied population of this one. Also with it being a hard to find coin would there be a way to factor the rarity of it? Would it make sense to send it out to grade and specify the variety?

As you mentioned SPP about being a hard coin to find, what would you consider a value on such? Now I realize this question falls into
the one above as well.

That makes sense Okie with it being so large I suppose it would or could have broke into many pieces had it kept being used.

I wonder if the piece that broke off is or was retained on another coin for some time or is in the archives of someones collection. Ty cheers.

It's been 6 years now and I got to wondering if anyone has found one of these. I've been through few thousand coins and not found another. It would be good to find the different stages progressively yet not even a little teaser found. Nor have any friends I've talked to found any. Cheers.

I picked up a Lawren Harris, "Houses St. Patrick St." wood block print graphite signed for 1 dollar, yes there are good deals out there.

The strike thru is prevalent on the bust yet the G and E not there! How does this happen?

Pretty common on the 1980 cent. Blakesly is there and so yes a legit clip also the rim angles of cut at the clip, evidence it's legitimacy.

Sorry my mistake after more study, small bead.

The angle vs straight on pics is deceiving.

In photo 3 and 4, from the 7 to the A it appears to be the spin mark of a coin counter or roller. Some other areas look like die clash yet not similar to lines from the obverse.

IMO, it's been well circulated and has been through a coin counter once for sure. As evidenced on the reverse.

I found this one in a silver scrap bin, one of my favorites in my die crack collection.

TY JohnWayne I have the coin and now gonna get better pictures. In hand I'm sure its DDO there is zero stepping and the bust looks to have a full perimeter of DDO likeness. I'll get pics at my friends over the next few days.

I'm waiting on a pic of the possibility of one. The coin has no stepping as in die issues. Ty in advance for all info.

Coin Frog, I believe a punctuation error.

Not a dot, it's a strike through, is perhaps what Rocky meant.
