@Coinfrog, I was looking at that, almost looks like it might have been smoothed. Although it's not distracting so I'm fine with it!

Thoughts? I'm also kind of confused with what is going on with her nose. Just some sort of double die going on?
Cheers

Thanks so much for the response everyone!
Wish I was able to see these in person, but pickings are scarce in Canada!
Appreciate the input, now I must decide

Been a while since I have been back in the hobby, hope life is going to slow down a bit so I can get back at it!
I'm probably a little rusty, so thought I would ask for advice on this Arkansas half. The other side looks fine to me, but the only thing concerning about this side is what look to be small hairline scratches that appear to almost run in a radial pattern. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Noah

Okay, thanks everyone!
Any suggestions as to some good online dealers to purchase certified coins from? The selection on eBay.ca seems to be quite limited.
Thanks!

Considering purchasing this dollar, but I have no experience with this series so I am looking for your opinions on the grade, eye-appeal and authenticity. I know these are faked often.
Thanks for your help!

Recently I had the privileged of travelling down to Oregon, and while there I went to my first `real` coin shop. Basically it was run by an nice older gentleman who was very passionate about his coins. He had a massive inventory of US coins which he was more than willing to show me. In reality, is was mind-boggling how many coins he had in such a small store. I even got to see a 1796 quarter! So many great coins to choose from it was hard to pick just one!

I was a great experience, and I can see how coin collecting came to be a well known hobby! I hope that in the future, shops like this will still be running with a new generation at the helm.
