Saw this posted, all for $250.

I don't know American and seems too good to be true.

Bad pics I know but is anything obvious about these notes?

Nah, I typically get more than melt on American coins...though probably not much on this set given the randomness of the set and the damaged penny. Maybe I'll break it open. Anyway doesn't matter at this point. Got my answer. Thank you all for your help.

No, I'd sell the set it's sealed in.

Didn't even realize that was a thing...especially for a semi common 1 cent. But it does make sense on how it looks now that you mention it. If I want to sell it do I just highlight the fact it has been replated?

Not sure about this one. Usually for me when struck through grease it has more of a crater look. Any help would be appreciated. It's sealed in a plastic case so tried to take best photos I could. Is it worth opening the case up?
It's on the reverse wheat.

No, the press he uses just shows the outside edge of the coin. That's why he likes the older coins.

Lol what's worse is I think he enjoys that it bugs me. I have some I offered to trade but the outer portion of the reverse isn't as good so he won't. But offered to buy mine...smh

I'm trying to save coins needlessly being turned into rings.

Albeit the rings look good, he's using dated coins when dateless coins will do. They just need to be detailed enough around the edges though. If anyone has dateless coins 1936 25 and 50 Cents pieces and older please let me know. Would pay melt value based on the specifications Weight vs actual weight...ideally located somewhere I can physically pick them up.

Thanks.

As best I can tell it's 1/A/No Mint Mark.

Hopefully these photos are sufficient.

Ultimately I guess least expensive for my criteria..I don't know how much that would be. I guess ideally less than $200 but given how much more I'm doing these days I'd go higher for better versatility and quality.

Seems the last thread I've found is a bit old and currently want to upgrade some equipment.

Any suggestions. Not sure if this exist or best to buy separately but would like one that measures in the 100ths but has a capacity for bulk.

Look forward to your input. Thanks in advance.

I see this has been discussed as recently as mid last year but didn't really get a clear answer.

I would like to upgrade from using just a loupe.

My hope is to have a microscope that really provides clarity with coins, projects to a screen(especially if it keeps costs down and I can use my own) and I guess lastly takes good quality photographs...something I struggle with.

Are there any recommendations that would work for all these purposes?

Many thanks for your opinions.

Ok, thanks for all that. I'll see what I can figure out with my loupe. Disappointed with the grade but respect it. I always am surprised with large copper coins because I'm so used to silver smaller coins. After seeing your example though I get it. Especially about the high points. Any real significance between the 10 and 11 in terms of rarity or just for the sake of knowing which it is?

Ok, good. Just note again the coin looks more like the earlier photos.lol Very dark, definitely not as bright as the latter.

Well that's fine but I think that two people gave me detailed explanations that helped me. Which I thought was the point of the forum. However, these answers did not come until much later and I believe have justified my position of asking deeper questions. I think some, not all, have used language that implies otherwise. I have been professional, specific and there have been optics of a mob mentality to which I'm not sure why. This forum overall has been incredibly kind and generous to me and I know I do not bring much back to the table aside from sharing some fun finds. I just like to be 'written' the way I have communicated back. I digress. My questions have been answered. Thank all for the help. At least I'm better at this after my post than before it and I guess that's what is important.
