Anoob, you know I have been studying this type.

In SNG Copenhagen, it is listed under both mainland Carthage and in Sicily.
It is not listed in Jenkin's Coins of Punic Sicily.

I did a little research and found that I was wrong above.

All of the coins I have found of this issue have badly done eyes.

Id is:
Valerian I AR Antoninianus. Antioch mint, 257 AD. IMP VALERIANVS AVG, radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right / P M TR P V COS IIII P P, Valerian and Gallienus standing face to face, shields and spears between them. RIC 277, Cohen 169, Göbl 1598a.

My example from Samosata.

Anoob, you of all people should know that the current scholarly opinion is mixed on whether they were minted in Sicily or Carthage...

@Ski

Caligula was killed by his Praetorian Guards, who then found Claudius hiding behind a curtain, certain he was going to be killed after him.

The Praetorians then took Claudius to their camp where they declared him Emperor.

The issues of the type are highly faked...

Not sure about this one, but these are always worrying.

Don't use Wikipedia for Mythology...

Most of the pages are either completely incorrect or are full of incorrect information.

Use Theoi for Greek, I haven't found a very good Roman site yet.

I agree with the Geta attribution, but I don't think that it is AMNG 1648...

I don't believe that it is a die match on both sides to the coin shown on Wildwinds.

I actually have a coin from Nikopolis:

Geta

AE15
AD 195-198
Nikopolis ad Istrum
L AVR K - GETAC
Bare head right
NIKOPOLITWN PROC I.
Crescent with 1 6-pointed star in the cavity with dots at the points
15mm
2.0g

ref. a) not in AMNG:
rev. AMNG I/1, 1648
obv. AMNG I/1, 1649
b) cf. Varbanov (engl.) 3236 (= AMNG 1648)
c) not in Hristova/Hoeft/Jekov (2012):
rev. No. 8.22.48.5 (same die)
obv. e.g. No. 8.22.6.3 (central coin, same die)
Nikopolis Addenda II #216 (second known)

If I remember correctly (I am currently away from my books), the only form of Aphrodite that would make sense was not worshiped in mainland Greece, only in the east.
