Many Iranian Civic coppers are quite rare.
They were ment for local usage only and generally for a limited time. Those that survived are often well worn.
On this one, I suppose the mint any maybe year of issue to be onthe center cartouche between the scales.
I did not manage to find another picture of this coin on the net.

So should you happen to find a picture of this coin with a cartouche that is not worn down, pleqse don't forget to let me know.

Nice idea.
I am not aware of an album similar to the Whitman type for French coins.
To have an idea of awhat exists at what price, I would recommend the site http://www.lefranc.net
I have several types you are missing, including some present in your list and missing there. Many are not expensive.
Should you be interested into a swap, I am still looking for many US-coins (small cent to dime), please sed me a PM.

Thank you for your comments.
Yes, you can find plenty of varieties for these coins, like repunched dates or error in the spelling of FRANCOIS becoming FRANCIOS.
But these errors appear more frequently on the 12 Deniers coins and this is the first time I saw an error like this.

The engrave made a quite spectacular error on this coin.
He put the S for Sols on the wrong side of the die.
Then he tried to erase it and stamped a 2 at this place.

This is not a simple "no B" variety, it is the rare variety with the owl.
Check here: https://www.lefranc.net/monnaie,100...het,450.html
You will see that the one with the owl has a much higher value.

It ia a swan and the privy mark of the Berlin mint.
You can find it on many coins and medals dating from approx. 1930 until 1955.
Here is a medal with this privy mark:

Hello,
What happened to this coin?
There are two big scratches on the obverse.
But the scratches are hardly visible on the raised letter H or on the ball.
Defective planchet?

I have made close up pictures of the scratches.

What do you think about this German trader?

I have met him personally several years ago and he seems to be very knowledgeable about these coins.

German Marks coins had a very high demand in the late 1990s and prices went to the moon until the beginning of the euro where interest dropped as people discovered there were plenty of coins sleeping in their cupboards and hardly anything was rare.
Krause was following the first move but completely missed the second one.

Does this one qualify for this topic? The hole is not really centered.

I really love the beauty of these coins.
I am not able to read the script except for the digits, but that doesn't take away the pleasure to look at these coins.
Here are some examples of my favorites.

Safavid Tahmasp II - AR-Abbasi, Isfahan mint AH1144

Afsharids Nadir Shah - AR-Rupee, Tabriz mint AH1154

Qajar Nasir al-Din Shah - 1/8 Kran, Resht mint, AH1273

Qajar Mo#7717;ammad Qajar - AR-Qiran, Teherqn mint AH1263

I didn't find any reference stating where this medal has been minted. But I believe it should have struck at the same mint than the other medals.
I found this reference on the net: https://coinquest.com/cgi-bin/cq/co...l?coin=14793
