According to google images, there are sheets out there. I thought they only came in tubes, like the ASE. But apparently, they have them in sheets, since I see different dated maples and a timbe wolves in sheets, at least from google image, and they don't look like they vacuum sealed them at home.

I'm sure keeping it as one giant sheet will be better, but you'll have to hunt for someone that are into those things. I for one, wouldn't pay anything extra, since it seems harder to storage all that coinage in uncut sheets.

Being Korean, I've always looked for S. Korean Bullion Coins. I just never liked the selections they offer at their mint, which is basicly nothing. Never knew there were N. Korean bullions. I would worry about fakes from that country, since almost everything from there is counterfeited. But if they were real, I'd love to get my hands on some. To bad I'll probably only bump into pics of them.

I also dislike the Britannias, only because it's .958 silver, instead of the usual .999 or .9999 silver bullions everyone else seems to make.

Identifying Old Proofs

I've had a hard time in the past, trying to figure out proofs from non-proofs, especially when I was roll hunting. But that was before I ever found one. When I saw my first proof coin, I knew without a doubt, it was a Proof. Unless the coin have been circulaed for a very long time, Proofs will catch your eye very quickly, especially with the perfect edges and nice details.

You'll get the hang of it as soon as you find your first proof. Of course I've seen people post pictures of some proofs that you could barely tell. But I'm just looking for the easy, eye appealing ones.

Found a 1943P War Nickel and a 1978S Proof that's been circulated a bit. I think I'm more happy about founding the proof then the war nickel, although the war nickel is worth more. Both from pocket change that's been collecting in a jar at home, which surprised me, since I normally check all my change for junk silver, proofs, and any major errors I can remember of the top of me head.

Well, just wanted to brag, since I rarely get to. If only I had more time between work to do some roll hunting, maybe next year.

I've failed on my search of Wide AMs as well. Started about 2 years ago, and haven't found one yet. I guess Los Angeles is a bad area.

That makes a lot of sense. I've seen round rings made from the coin rollers on the outer coins of a roll. Darn. :P

I found this dime that has a weird inner edge that looks cleaned, but the inner rim appears normal.

With my untrained eye, it looks cleaned but I've seen similar coins that happen to be errors, so I need your opinions, professional or not.

Wish I had a better camera, but I guess iphone3 pics are better then nothing.

Hopefully these pics will help explain what I'm asking about AND hopefully you guys will know if it's a cleaned coin or something cool.

I've been trying to do a little research on this topic every few days. I'm still really confused with how the whole mining process works and where you can exchange the bitcoins/litecoins.

It seems like a very interesting way to make a bit of cash on the side, but since I don't know squat about computers, I'm confused beyond belief. There are normal programs we need to mine, then we need some kind of online wallet, and then we need another program to exchange the coins for whatever your flavor is? Or does one program do everything for you?

And I figured it's just like any online game, you just gotta play it to figure it out. I just haven't gotten around to just trying it yet. Probably because I only got a laptop at home (which I've read somewhere not to use, unless you want to burn it out) and I don't want to risk my work computers from being slow or anything like that.

And another thing, why the need for so many graphic cards?

Hopefully I'll have all my questions answered here, but in the mean time, I'll just browse whatever google tosses my way.

Yeah, I couldn't figure it out. Fedex and UPS regularly deliever boxes and stuff at my work (I work at a storage place so lots of shipments from everywhere) so I'm sure it's not because they don't operate in my area. Maybe it's because it's cheaper for them to use USPS, but since I don't trust the USPS at all, it worries me. Wish they wouldn't do that, but it doesn't really effect me, unless I start thinking about all the possible ways my shipment won't get to me, haha.

Most of my purchases are from APMEX. The only weird thing about APEMX is when I order my things, usually it's FEDEX or UPS, but when I follow the tracking, it'll reach my state (california) and then all of sudden, USPS has it. It makes me worry, but nothing has ever happened. It just confuses me since I'm tracking it through fedex/ups and all of a sudden, it has a new tracking number for USPS. Weird, but nothing negative.

The bar from the Alibaba site is a different type. It clearly says CREDIT U.S. on this bar, while on the Alibaba link, it says PAMP SUISSE. And at $1-1.7 each, I really hope it's not the same.

I sew a few pictures of that bar, mainly on eBay, but I can't seem to find anything else regarding this. Apparently a few random sites are Sold Out of these, so people do buy them.

When I google it the mint, it shows up as a business close by to me, in Los Angles, on Hill St. I know that part of town is know as the jewelry district or close to it, but that doesn't confirm anything.

I would probably trade it for a better known brand, unless someone else here can confirm this bar is 100% legit.

I've curious about that laser thing. Doesn't that burn away a tiny portion of the silver into micro dust? Basicly, are they losing a tiny tiny portion of silver each time that laser hits that silver round/bar thing?

Veritek, you got a point there. If they handle this right, they could gain cusomers as well. And going along that point, has anyone else ever experienced these kinds of situations and how did that end? I'm curious to know if other sites have been horrible or great in a bad situation. I never really thought about stuff disappearing before, and I wouldn't mind being pointed to the right business, just in case.

So far, Goldmart isn't looking to smart with the run around, especially since it's been a few weeks since this happened. It should have been figured out within a week, IMO. Maybe their waiting for silver to drop lower so whatever extra you paid for, would help cover the cost of the lost bar. I'm sure if silver's price got cut in half over night, that bar would be shipped out really fast.

I think looking at your collection on "Cold, damp days" has something to do with it as well. Just because it's zipped away most of the time, your locking in that damp air inside your ziplock bags, so that moisture is trapped in there.

I hate having urges to look at my collection on rainy days, because I know all that moisture in the air will effect them somehow. And I like my bullion coins untoned, especially things like the Lunar Series or even the Australian Kooks. But I also like my bars toned, give them a nice look.

This must be so frustrating for you. For the past few days, everytime I see someone post in here, I jump in, hoping to see a happy ending. Nothing.

I'm about ready to punch a random person in the face, and it didn't even happen to me.

All I know is, if Goldmart doesn't help you, they will lose a lot of potential customers from here.

Never heard about a match test before. That's something new for me, although I would never try it on my bullion coins since I wouldn't want to stain them, let alone clean them afterwards. Are match tests reliable? It would seem the sulfur would stain anything, but that's just my views.
