I have always wanted to purchase a 1907 $5 Woodchopper and I finally pulled the trigger. Definitely one of my favorite bills. Contemplated getting a lower grade in the past but I am happy I waited for this one! What're some of your "dream" paper currency purchases? (Note: of course my scanner broke after taking the front scan of this bill )

Another "fun bank find" today for me. A 1963A $100- beautiful looking bill. I've had quite the luck on old bill finds from the bank recently :).

Haven't posted on here for what seems like forever! Happy to be posting again. Thought I'd put my 1928 $20 I got from the bank when getting some cash. Fun find!

I was thinking and I know it sounds outrageous, but has anyone every thought or heard rumors about TPG's swapping coins for fakes? I know their reputable and so on (NGC, PCGS, ANACS), but maybe some of the lower level ones. I mean when I research some TPG's I find many out of business. Just a thought .

Got this two dollar bill off eBay, paid $108.00. I might of over paid a little but I've been looking for this note awhile and it seemed most auctions were going $125 +. Any grade idea?

Thanks,
Ryan

Jody- You can send it to CGA. You do not have to be a member of any club to send a paper note in I believe.

Got these from a guy when he purchased an item from me. Serial Numbers go from: F35644601-F35644628 from 1993. All are in PERFECT condition. Would a set like this together be anything special or valuable/worth anything. I plan to keep them kind of cool :).

Thanks,
Ryan

I totally understand, honestly though I will not sell this note for a long time if I ever decide too. I have many many large notes 1917's of each denomination a few 1899 Dollar Bill's and about 200 silver certificates. I collect but I do not know much about the rarer bills like the Chief notes and Educational Notes. Not yet have I bought a bill just to re-sell. I am only 17 and am not expirienced yet with currency so I try to ask others once in awhile for values of bills I need some help on. I hope you don't see me as a guy into only making money on this hobby.

Bill Collector,
I was actually considering sending it before you said it because in the future if I wanted to sell it, wouldnt people be more 'interested' if it was graded by PCGS not CGA? Thanks for all your advice and knowledge, you sure know a lot!

Thanks, I was thinking about sending it to PCGS. From your expirience any idea what this note COULD be worth? Always was interested in Chief notes but never thoght I could get one for $300.00.

Hey Guys, haven't posted in awhile but recently I just picked up this Chief Note at a Gun/Coin show. I have always wanted one but found them so expensive, I paid $300.00 for it after talking him down from $325.00. So how did I do, I think I got a good deal after looking at eBay. Be honest :).

Thanks,
Ryan

Yes I'm fine with the price, I will be holding onto this coin so it will mean a lot having a rarer coin like this one. I'm hoping I get a VG. I believe I have a chance. The coin was originally graded a long time ago so hopefully I can get a VG. Thats just some hopeful thinking.

Mario- What is QVC haven't heard of it? Most of the coins I've saw on tv were all graded by NGC besides mine and some others Accugrade.
