Hello all,

Haven't posted in a while but I thought I'd share this Trade dollar I found at a local shop while visiting family in Delaware. It is my first Trade dollar I know she's not pretty but I was told it was used as a pocket piece for a very long time. Just wanted to share it and see what you all thought about it. (Paid $58, will weigh the coin when I get back to Vermont).

Gee, about all I can make out is that it has the correct type 2 reverse for 1877. Can't tell what type obverse due to extreme wear. You didn't happen to purchase it from First State Coins in Dover, DE. did you?

Could make PO01 as a lowball if that type of collecting is in your interest.

@VTcollector, I live near them and have dealt with them on numerous occasions . They have always been straight and fair with me so no worry that it genuine. Just a super worn piece grading PO1. Curious though what the weight turns out to be.
